Amazing day, our new mascot arrived, his name is Jack Sparrow

Crazy as it may sound, I really really put it out there that M.A.R.S, needed a new mascot since our resident iguana Gracie passed away. Lo and behold, today in a u-haul truck from South Carolina, Jack Sparrow came to our parrot rescue sanctuary. He was looking out the passenger window when he arrived, so that says something about his size. Yes he is a big boy!!!!!!!!!!!. He is sweet, loves to be pet and held, and immediately wanted food.
