The umbrellas are down, stormy weather has hit our Melbourne Beach town. The macaws, cockatoos and amazons of Melbourne Avian Rescue Sanctuary are all hunkered down, hoping good weather will come our way at some time today.
So to all that I say strawberry pancakes need to be made right away.
To anyone planning a visit to M.A.R.S. today, be sure to bring an umbrella. Oh, and perhaps a rain coat too.

It ended up being a lovely day for the most part with lovely company! Already counting the days until our next trip to MARS.

I love seeing the parrots and all the birds. I have had 3 different parrots in my life and also a pair of eclectus. my husband was was very sick and we gave our birds to our daughter in Louisiana. He died in 2017.
Now I am remarried and live in Cape Coral. praying about adding a parrot to our life. I have two small grandchildren that live in the city also. I would be interested in a bird that would be gentle. They would not be aggressive children at all. They are very careful with my Maltese. I want to keep in touch with MARS

The parrots I had were Macaws and Eclectus. I loved them Raised one from a baby and the others I had were older. Bought my greening from a pet store and my last Mccaw from an individual.
