Last night Melbourne Avian Rescue Sanctuary (MARS) was invited to attended the Space Coast Parrot Head Club event, held at the Pineda Inn Bar and Grill.
The very lively event had a huge number of the clubs members in attendance along with, and I personally, am very happy to say, Red Leggs Greaves and his pirate bird Kosh
There was music, dancing, food to order from the Inns kitchen and ample boisterous conversations. This event also hosted a special segment, honoring six local non profit organizations. M.A.R.S., I am happy to share with all of you, was feeling very privileged to be included as one of those six non profits recognized by the club.
We like to send a huge shout out to all of the club members along with a very special thank you to Cathy and John Furtado.
All here at our exotic bird rescue so appreciate all of the Parrot heads and the good works you continue to do through out the communities of Florida. Your donation to M.A.R.S. will help our rescue sanctuary organization to continue doing the work we do for all the parrots and their people. So many continue to need our support, advice and the services we can offer and hopefully provide for them.
