When you have a set schedule you hope to be able to stay consistent. Unforeseen situations develop however, and have a way of causing change.
Volunteer availability changes. Weather plays a factor. Those who have previously visited M.A.R.S. know we are an outside operation, and we need nice weather to be open.
With that said, this Friday the 21st will be adoption day. Please visit Melbourne Avian Rescue Sanctuary then. If this is not possible, then special arrangements can be made for another day.
Saturday, weather permitting, we will be open, but do to lack of volunteers our hours will be 1:00 to 4:30.
M.A.R.S. regrets that these changes are necessary. If anyone would like to sign up to volunteer, go to our forms page marsparrots.org/forms  and fill out the application. E-mail marsparrots@aol.com, and we will set up an interview. Volunteers are required to scedule two days a week here at M.A.R.S..

You want to have the nicest day of your life, go visit LuAnn and her cockatoo’s. You will have the time of your life and you will meet some really good birds. She has a lot of all kinds. And you can save sooooooo much money by adopting rather than buying from a store. And you don’t have to go thru the terrible two’s. Yes birds go thru the terrible two’s at about two years old, just like your kids did.
