Yard sale is almost a 4th of July must do, four houses, lots of new stuff. Give us some feed back on this
When we have so much cool stuff and no place to store it it is definitely time to do a yard sale for the parrots of MARS. So give us some feed back on doing this on a holiday weekend and we will post your comments and proceed from there. Yes we need volunteers on board for this to happen but how much fun could we all have eating barbecue and celebrating our Nations Birthday toooooo!!!!
Try try and try again.
Ocassionally I find myself in what could only be called, a complete computer nightmare. Try as I might the ins and outs of posting pictures and uploading and creating links and updating even a web page on our marsparrots.org site is still like a foreign language to me. Bird care issues no problem, computer issues big problem.
In a nut shell, is there anyone out there who is a tried and true bird lover and computer wiz too? Someone with the skills who would assist M.A.R.S. in creating more current and updated web contents. Facebook is a great venue yes, but not for critical needs as in finding funds or volunteers or for that matter available fund raising opportunities. Our official site is the one I want to concentrate on. This has always been a priority but currently it is an urgent need. One that now must be addressed. On a side note Pinterest is also a very important tool that we need to engage with more. You get the idea.
We must use all avenues of social media for this organization to be found or maybe a better word useage would be discovered. We cannot grow with out this. We cannot help the people and the exotic birds who need us to be here for them. If we do nothing more then we have done thus far we are simply tying our own hands behind our backs. Almost anyone who has ever been associated with Melbourne Avian Rescue Sanctuary knows we know birds. Now dealing with the internet and all the available forms of social media we desperately need, no, not so good.
E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you are this person or know someone who might be available. Thank-you for reading and for caring.
